Rotary is certainly about “Service Above Self”, but that doesn’t rule out the fun, camaraderie and deep sense of satisfaction we find in our activities. We host a
Halloween Fest for over 3000 local residents at Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village, clean up Young’s Road followed by a
picnic, host a
holiday party at the long-term care facility at ECMC with a visit from a different Santa. Last time it was
Elvis Santa who entertained, passed out gifts and led us in song. Providing food for local pantries and the
Great Lakes Watershed Project are popular with our members. Our
Sporktoberfest (a spring Oktoberfest) at Park Country Club and
Autumn Moon Dance at Buffalo Yacht Club are enjoyed by all. Our meeting feature interesting speakers, social events, and Professor Phil “the smartest man in the world”.
If you are new to our community or would like to learn more about our club, please contact our membership chair, listed on the left column of our home page. Perhaps you might even consider joining us for lunch as we are starting to move to in-person meetings. All are welcome, and we will even treat you to a meal. We meet every Thursday afternoon at 12:00 at Dandelion’s Restaurant, Dandelions Restaurant 1340 North Forest Road, Williamsville NY 14221.
